Postsecondary Education Fund
CC4Africa has occasionally been able to find individual donors to sponsor youth to attend post-secondary schooling. However, the sponsorship process had not been formalized. This fund was inspired by the passing of a long-time supporter and friend--whose family has asked to remain private--who wanted to set up a fund to support post-secondary education in Burundi. As such, the Postsecondary Education Fund came to be. A year of sponsorship usually costs anywhere between $1,000 to $2,000 USD per student depending on location, school and program.
As children at the Emmanuel Centre identify aspirations for higher education, then CC4Africa will strive to find individual donors for these students on a case-by-case basis through the use of the Postsecondary Education Fund.
